Paul Lettow

Dr. Paul V. Lettow is a lawyer. From 2007 to 2009, he served as the Senior Director for Strategic Planning on the National Security Council staff at the White House. Previously, Dr. Lettow was Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs from 2006 to 2007. He is the author of Strengthening the Nuclear Nonproliferation Regime (Council on Foreign Relations, 2010), and Ronald Reagan and His Quest to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (Random House, 2005). Dr. Lettow is a member of the board of directors of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a D.Phil. in international relations from Oxford University, and an A.B. in history, summa cum laude, from Princeton University.
